The leather used is leftover and deadstock leather from the Danish furniture and food company Getama. It is scraps that are too small for their production or remnants with minor defects that we can easily cut around. The leather primarily comes from Sørensen Læder, which has high CSR and production standards, and is supplied to Getama.

We purchase the leather from Getama and receive it in "lucky bags", so we don't know what we get delivered other than it is of the highest quality and mostly in the colors black, cognac, and dark brown. Our partnership with Getama is an important part of their focus on the reuse of material waste.
